Mommy
Week one and two on your
pregnancy daily calendar
begins on the first day of your period. Technically you’re not even pregnant! However, this is when you start counting.
Take precautions
by taking a prenatal vitamin that contains at least 0.4 mg of folic acid to help prevent neural tube defects such as spina bifida.
You should also stop taking any form of birth control, and avoid things such as alcohol, tobacco (including second hand smoke), x-rays and over-the-counter medications.

Baby
Your baby doesn’t even exist yet - he or she hasn’t even been conceived! It may be weird to think about a pregnancy starting even before your child is even conceived, but doctors
calculate your due date
from the beginning of your last cycle since it’s difficult to pin-point exactly when conception occurred.
