, you should try not to lay flat on your back. The baby and uterus are getting heavy now, and laying flat on your back will put pressure on your vena cava, which runs slightly down the center of your back. Putting pressure on your vena cava can possibly obstruct blood flow to your organs and extremities.
If possible, try sleeping on your left side (as the vena cava is slightly to the right of the center of your back), or sleep with a pillow under your right hip to keep one side of your back slightly elevated.
This doesn't exactly help when you are most likely already having trouble sleeping! It's hard to find a comfortable position once your belly gets in the way. There are many pregnancy pillows that may help, which are "U" or "S" shaped. Or else try sleeping in a recliner - that may actually be more comfortable.
In addition to this discomfort, heartburn may be highly annoying at this point! The pregnancy hormones that are causing your pelvic muscles to relax are also causing the ring of muscle that separates the esophagus from the stomach to relax as well. The result is easy access for digestive acids to enter your chest and throat.

This stage of the pregnancy daily calendar is associated with the disappearance of the 'lanugo' (hair on the body). The toenails are growing, and red blood cells are produced by the bone marrow.
The brain is starting to look the way it will at birth - grooves and wrinkles and all!
