Mommy
Your
pregnancy daily calendar
is nearing it's end...
As your center of gravity shifts, you may feel off-balance or clumsy. The baby is settling into your pelvis, which is called "lightening". Not only that, but you may be running to the bathroom constantly since your uterus is pushing on your bladder!
Watch for
signs of labor
, which include your water breaking, bloody show, and regular contractions that occur every 5-10 minutes, and increase in frequency.
Baby
The baby is preparing for birth! Most of the lanugo is gone, and the lungs are maturing.
The average size baby at this point is over 7 pounds. This is just an average! Plenty of healthy babies have been born weighing much less - and much more!
The brain is still developing at an incredible rate, which will continue on for the first three years of life.
The baby's head may have dropped into your pelvis, making breathing easier but walking harder.
