Hi, and welcome to my website!

I'm Lisa, and I decided to start the complete-pregnancy-guide.com website to incorporate all the answers you may have about pregnancy - all in one place! I'd like to tell you how I came to creating this website, why I created it, and how it allows me to work from home!

If you're looking to generate income from home, I'll tell you my story, and how you can do this too by writing about things that you know about and are passionate about.

About Me - My Story

I am the mother of two amazing children - Luke & Alexis. Motherhood has certainly changed the way I look at life!

When I was trying to conceive, I was researching every aspect of fertility. After months of researching, I was like a walking medical journal! I thought I knew everything there was to know about conception!

I - like many other women trying to conceive - was obsessed with optimizing my chances of conceiving as soon as possible. I wanted to be "with child" right away!

Of course, that didn't happen the "day" I decided I wanted to have babies! I suppose I'm not the most patient person in the world!

When it didn't happen right away for me, I began researching and researching and researching until I had covered every angle on optimizing my chances of conception.

After the 3rd month, it worked! I was finally pregnant with my precious little girl!

Of course, after I finally conceived, I was then obsessed with finding out everything there is to know about having a healthy pregnancy.

Then I needed to know everything about labor....and so on and so forth.

By the time I was ready to go for baby number two, I was armed with the conception information I needed already.

I got pregnant a little sooner, but unfortunately, I suffered a blighted ovum (a type of pregnancy loss), and was devastated.

Now I needed to know everything about pregnancy loss, hcg levels, and how soon after I got over this could I get pregnant again! My researching days were not over!

I got back on the internet and gathered all the information I could about miscarriage.

After a couple of months, I was blessed to have conceived my second child - Luke. When you suffer a pregnancy loss (which so many women do), you have an even greater appreciation for the miracle of life, and how delicate it - and pregnancy - is!

I Wanted To Be A WAHM - "Work At Home Mom"

Now that my two babies are here, I decided that I wanted to stay home with them and not go back to work...but how was I supposed to do this?

Nowadays, it's difficult to survive off of one income, so I knew I had to supplement my income from home. To work from home seemed so unattainable!

I spent months looking into a variety of ways to do this. I got suckered into the the "earn $45/hour stuffing envelopes" scheme, among others. I was so desparate to earn a buck and work from home, that I fell for these "get rich quick" schemes.
